Gerald E. Gray, 60, (formerly of Odessa, TX) passed away on Tues. Dec. 31, 2013 at their residence in Aurora, CO.
He was born on Oct. 5, 1953 to Gerald L. Gray who preceded him in death in 1990 and Shirley Ann Dement Gray who preceded him in death in 2011. He was a former sheriff's deputy who retired after 29 years with the Ector Co. Sheriff's Dept.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon A. Salyers Gray and toy poodle "Tyler"; a daughter Charis Nutter and husband Rod and their children Shandon of Odessa and Braedon of Houston, TX; a son Chad Gray and his children Blake of Odessa, Georgia of San Angelo, and Nick of Odessa, TX; a daughter Melissa Kelley and husband Brian and their son Ethan of San Antonio, TX; a stepdaughter Allison Stevens, and stepdaughter Lori Dick and husband Rodney and their children Makenzie and Hayden all from Kentucky; a brother Alan Gray and wife Molly of Comanche, TX, and a sister Kim Baumguardner and husband Sam of Notrees, TX. Also several nieces, nephews, and great nieces/nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday Jan. 11, 2014 at 2:30 pm at Life Change Church in Odessa, with Bro. John Thomason officiating.
