Gerald John Woodford of Golden, Colorado, went to heaven on December 28th 2014 from acute heart failure.
He was born on November 20, 1947 to the late Richard and Loraine Woodford. Jerry married Kathryn on August 31, 1968. He was father to the late Shannon Marie Woodford & Christopher Gerald Woodford. Jerry is survived by his son Brian John Woodford, six grandchildren; David, Ashley, Deserae, Joeseph, Tommy and Ryan. Also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
Jerry was a kind, loving, caring and generous man who lived for his family, especially his grandchildren. He was a very talented man. He knew electrical, flooring and plumbing. He was a mechanic and an upholsterer. He could build almost anything. He was an amazing man. He was a very hard worker; always worked two jobs to make sure his family was taken care of, even after getting diagnosed with emphysema and C.O.P.D. He worried more about his family then himself. He impacted everyone around him. No matter what, he always had a smile on his face. He always saw the joy in life even through his suffering. Jerry will be missed but never forgotten.
