Gilbert H. Johnson (Gil) of Littleton, Colorado went to heaven June 15, 2016.
He was born in Cleveland, Ohio, on May 19, 1935. He graduated from Miami Edison High School in Miami, Florida, in 1954 and married his high school sweetheart, Jean Ann Henshaw, in 1956. After graduating from the University of Miami with a degree in Business Administration, he worked as a Human Resource Director for Olin Corporation, Island Creek Coal Company, and Amaco Minerals. In 1984, God led Gil to purchase a drywall company, and later he started Administrative Concepts, a business consulting and payroll company.
Gil was an active member of Beth Eden Baptist Church and Gideons International. Gil was also on the board of the Wilds Christian Camp. Gil loved to travel, but his main delight during his retirement years was investing in his thirteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Gil is survived by his wife Jean, children Dale Johnson (Lisa), Jeanine Turner (Rick), and Nancy Ervin (Chris), thirteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, all of Littleton, Colorado. He also has three surviving sisters and two cousins.
