Gina M. Martinez, affectionately known as "Rere," passed away on January 16, 2026, in Westminster, Colorado, at the age of 52. Born on November 13, 1973, in Denver, Gina was a radiant spirit who touched the lives of many with her kindness, humor, and boundless giving nature.

Gina dedicated nearly 23 years of her life to her career as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). Her work was not merely a profession; it was a calling that allowed her to shower compassion on those who needed it most. Her generosity extended beyond her professional life; she gave her time, her resources, and immeasurable love to everyone she encountered.

From a young age, Gina's love for reading and coloring was evident. She could often be found with a book in hand, devouring whatever she could, her imagination thriving as she colored the world around her. Her artistic spirit and zest for life were mirrored in her interests—whether traveling to the mountains, embarking on road trips, or enjoying the joy of Disney World, she embraced life fully and passionately.

Gina’s greatest pride came from raising her three daughters: Elizabeth (married to Tommy), Katheryn (married to Daniel), and Cheyenne. Her role as a mother was a cherished accomplishment, and even more so was her dedication as a grandmother. The laughter and love she shared with her grandchildren will echo in their hearts forever.

Gina is survived by her loving parents, Gabriel and Evelyn Jane; her brothers, Gabriel Jr. (married to Kristina) and Andrew; her sister, Amanda (married to Hap); along with numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and her adored grandchildren. The warmth of her memory will forever remain a guiding light in their lives.

Gina is preceded in death by her beloved grandmother, Elizabeth. As we remember Gina, let us cherish the beautiful moments, the laughter, and the immense love she radiated, embracing her spirit in our hearts.

A visitation will be held on January 28, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, West Metro, located at 901 S Sheridan Blvd, Denver, CO, 80226.

Gina M. Martinez's legacy will live on through the many lives she touched and the endless love she shared. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered.
