Gisela L. Makosy, 89, of Aurora, passed away August 19, 2019.
She was born January 30, 1930 in Hannover, Germany, the daughter of Heinrich and Martha (Dankert) Franke.
She married Edmund Siennicki in Hannover, Germany. He later passed away on May 10, 1975. On August 15, 1981, she married Charles Makosy.
Gisela loved to read. She enjoyed cooking German cuisine. She also enjoyed gardening and traveling.
Gisela is survived by son, Zig (Diane) Siennicki; daughter, Regina (David) Segelke; 5 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 5 siblings living in Germany and many extended family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her first husband, Edmund Siennicki; second husband, Charles Makosy; daughter, Christina Miller; father, Heinrich Franke; mother, Martha Franke and 9 siblings.
