Gladys M. Olson

Gladys Mae Olson, 91, formerly of Hemingford, Nebraska passed on November 30th, 2015 in a hospice care center in Colorado.

Gladys was born September 5, 1924 in Ashby, Nebraska to Louis and Mary Blaylock. "Glady-O" will be remembered for her intense love and devotion to her family and faith. She resided in Hemingford for several years until her beloved Hilton Olson passed in 1987 at which time she moved to Colorado to live with her daughter in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. She was a magnificent cook and care taker but her deepest enjoyment was gardening. Her tender care and love produced many bountiful bouquets and harvests, especially her favorite, pink roses.

Gladys is survived by her sisters, Mary Lou Dent and Josephine Davis as well as her daughter, Bev Hudson and five step-children, Terry, Ed, Bob, Janice and Lori Olson. Gladys is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Hilton Olson, her son Raymond Davis, her daughter Sandy Davis as well as her brothers, Charles, Lloyd, and Marvin Blaylock.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 11, 2015 at 2:30 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home - West Metro Chapel, with viewing one hour prior.
