Glenn J. Jerome, 78, of Aurora, Colorado passed away Tuesday, July 22, 2014
He was born to the late Glenn and Minnie Jerome September 28, 1935 in La Crosse, Wisconsin. He married Joyce Inman in 1957. Because of his military career they lived in several areas of the county before settling into the Denver area upon his retirement from the Air Force in 1975.
Glenn joined the United States Air Force at age 17 and made that his career until his retirement. During his career with the Air Force he achieved the rank of Senior Master Sergeant and also received many commendations for his outstanding service. He then had a second career with the United States Postal Service. He retired from the Postal Service in 1997.
Glenn enjoyed many sports, but he loved to play baseball as well as watch. His favorite baseball team was the New York Yankees. He also loved to cheer for his Denver Broncos. He loved to read his newspaper cover to cover each day. He really enjoyed quality time with his family as well as weekly trips to his favorite casino with Joyce.
Glenn is survived by: his wife, Joyce, and three children, William E. Jerome (Cathy), Allen J. Jerome and Glenn R. Jerome. He is also survived by his two grandchildren, Justin and Adam; along with three sisters, Beverly, Edna and Carolyn.
Glenn enjoyed a full life, but he will be greatly missed by his wife and family.
