Gloria Angelina Anderson (Cruz), a proud Colorado Native, passed away on November 22, 2014 in her home surrounded by loved ones.

Born September 22, 1934 in Brighton, Colorado to Fred and Tammie Cruz. Gloria graduated from Brighton High School in 1951. She was a member of the Daughters of Mary at her church. She was in the Naval Reserve from 6/17/54 until 9/26/1957. She worked for the Federal Government where she met her husband John E. Anderson Sr. They were married on August 25, 1956 at St. Augustine Church in Brighton. Gloria's 5 children and grandchildren kept her pretty busy the rest of the time.

Gloria loved the Colorado Mountains. Her hobbies included oil painting, decorating cakes and various arts and crafts. She loved: dancing with her brother Bob, especially the jitter bug, her pet lizard she wore on her sweater, climbing trees, helping her Grandmother and Music of all kinds especially Marty Robbins and Huey Lewis and the News. She was the number one Avalanche fan.

She was proceeded in death by her husband John E. Anderson, Sr. She is survived by her children: John E. Anderson Jr., Joan A. Anderson, Richard E. Anderson, Nancy R. Mack and Catherine E. Anderson, her grandchildren: Katie McRoy, Jill Anderson, Christopher Mack, Paul Anderson, Serena Gadarowski, Chelsea Anderson, Sterling Anderson and Faith Anderson, her great grandchildren: Mariah Anderson, Kobi Mack and Emma McRoy.
