Gloria Louise Birdwell, 63, of Aurora, CO, passed away Wednesday, June 21, 2017. She was born in Cheyenne, Wyoming to the late Sarah and Oscar Fox, on May 24, 1954, in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Gloria graduated for Central High School in Cheyenne in 1972 and married Air Force SSgt Bernard J. Birdwell.
During her marriage, the Birdwell family lived in Virginia, the Philippines, Denver, CO., Japan, Abilene, TX. And finally, in 1993 made Aurora, CO her home. Gloria worked at University Hospital as an X-ray Technician until she retired for health reasons.
Gloria loved four things in life, God, her family, music, arts and crafts. She devoted her time to all four children and enjoyed her life to the fullest. All who met her loved and liked her. She is survived by four children; numerous grandchildren; one older sister; nephews and nieces. Her faith in God never wavered, no matter how hard times got.
