Grant G. Miner

May 18, 1932 — February 19, 2015

Grant Miner, 82, passed away Feb. 19 at his home in Aurora, CO. He was a railroader and a Korean War Veteran. He married Linda Newton in Tucumcari in 1952. He is survived by his wife, a daughter, Gail-Roger Verworn, a son, Stan-Theresa Miner, 2 grandsons, Michael-Vanessa Koerting, Brock-Caroline Verworn and 6 great-grandchildren, a brother, Gary-Mara, his children and grandchildren, a sister-in-law, Kathy Newton and her family. He loved to tell people that he was a retired railroader, a Korean War Veteran and he got a hole in one with a nine iron that he got at a garage sale for a quarter. He will be buried March 2, 2015 at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver, CO.
