Guy Edward Boyer 1929-2013
Born in Kansas City, Missouri to Ruth and Guy Maxwell Boyer. Guy enjoyed playing high school and college football. Attending the school activities of his sons and together cheering on C.U. football were good days. He loved singing bass in his high school acapella choir, in barber shop quartets and church. In his army years he was a medic and regimental football coach. He worked in the field of finance. Being with his family, studying the Bible and mountain days brought him joy. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Boyer; and sons: Mark (Denise) Boyer, John (Sharon) Boyer, Tom (Maureen) Boyer, Rick Boyer, and Guy (Sharalee); grandchildren: Krista, Sarah, Dan, Laura, Stephen, Jake, Abby, Georgia, Ashton, Anna, and Colin.
