Hobart "James" Onyan, 94, of Aurora Colorado passed away July 28, 2019 at his home with his family by his side.
James was born March 17, 1925 in Hubbardsville, New York, son of Lester and Blanche (Rice) Onyan. In 1943 he enlisted in the Army Air Force where he served as a gunner during World War II with the 29th Bombardment Squadron. He was honorably discharged in 1946.
In the late 1950's he moved to Denver and met his wife, Sally. He enjoyed Bowling, Golfing, trips to Central City and loved being a Papa to his grandchildren. He is preceded in death by daughter Julie and seven brothers and sisters. Survived by wife, Sally Ann Veauthier of 59 years, son Michael (Gabby Raymond) and daughter Diane (John Deal); 6 grandchildren - Peyton, Landon, Triston, Juliette, Scarlett and Wells.
