Harold Eugene (Duke) Pelham, 82, of Centennial, CO died Monday, October 27, 2014.
He was born to the late Richard and Olive Pelham (Towns), November 1, 1931, in Denver, CO. Harold graduated from St. Francis DeSales High School, Denver CO in 1949. He married Shirley Maurer of Peoria, IL on November 22, 1958.
Harold was a Purchasing Manager until he retired in 1984 and he enjoyed numerous activities, e.g.: Fishing, Camping, Ice Skating, Dancing, Model Building, Tennis, and Gardening. He served in the U. S. Air Force during the Korean War.
Harold is survived by his wife Shirley, two children Timothy Pelham, of Grand Junction, CO and Linda (Phillip Bell) Pelham, of Broomfield, CO. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; children, Joseph Pelham and Pamela Tolley, and several brothers and sisters.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to Disabled American Veterans, DAV.
Services will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home at 10:30 am on Monday, November 2. 2014, 901 S. Sheridan Blvd., Denver, CO followed by a graveside service at Ft. Logan National Cemetery, 4400 W. Kenyon Ave., Denver, CO.
