Harold Lee Caputo

After a long battle with several health problems Harold Lee Caputo passed away suddenly on June 29, 2017. Harold was born on April 30, 1944 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Hyrum Harold Droubay and Gwendolyn Droubay.
He grew up in Salt Lake City with his mother and step-father Lee Caputo. He attended Judge Memorial Catholic High School where he excelled in baseball, football and diving. He attended Utah State University where he was on the gymnastics team specializing in rings.

He joined the Air Force in 1966 and later joined the Air Force Reserves.

In Salt Lake City he ran a wildlife rescue operation which is a testament to his lifelong love for animals.
Harold started his telecom career with Western Electric and then worked for Mountain Bell in the computer room. He obtained his degree in Industrial Psychology at Loretto Heights College in Denver. He worked as a trainer for Mountain Bell and then US West later becoming the Training Broker.

Harold married Linda Ferguson in 1985 and became father to her 3 young daughters.

Harold was a member of the Rocky Mountain Reining Horse Association and the Foothills Pigeon Racing Club. He enjoyed a passion for gardening, fishing and spending time with friends and family.

Harold was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife Linda and daughters Laura (Dan) Grieser, Lynn Ferguson and Kayleen O'Leary as well as his 3 grandsons, Kyle (Hollie) Grieser, Daniel (Elizabeth) Grieser, Kenny (Kallie) O'Leary, and his great grandson Thomas Grieser.

At Harold's Request there will be no services.
