Harvey Francis Delimont passed away this November 21st, 2015, at his assisted living residence at Harvard Square in Denver, CO, where he had lived for the last years of his life. Harvey was born July 31, 1926, in Rigby, Idaho, to David G. Delimont & Effie May Delimont (Park). Harvey spent 28 years proudly serving his country in the United States Army, where he saw service in several foreign lands from 1944-1972.
Harvey was a loyal employee of the University of Colorado Hospital from 1973-1992. He married Rosetta Friedman on September 4, 1948 and was with her until her death in 1993. Together they had four children: Deborah Sturycz of Falcon, Colorado; David Delimont of Kansas; Sydel Kennamer of Colorado Springs, Colorado; and JoAnn Osbourne of Enterprise, Kansas- all survive him. Harvey is also survived by three brothers: Neil of Trumble, Nebraska; Albert of Camargo, Illinois; and David Lee of Twin Falls, Idaho; and his sister, Adelle Bjugstad, of Hastings, Nebraska. Harvey also had eight grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, his sister, Irma Backman and one great-grandson.
