He was born February 1, 1928 in Pickton, CO, the son of Joseph and Delubina (Lopez) Montoya. He is survived by his 3 daughters: Teresa Montoya, Melissa R. Murillo-Becerra, Rosalie Montoya; 2 sisters: Frieda Bugarin and Della (Raymond) Martinez; brother: Joseph Montoya; 4 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren. He preceded in death by his parents, son, Enrique "Honko" Montoya, 1 sister; Orlinda Valdez; 1 brother; Carlos Montoya.
