Hildegard Kudsk
89, of Lakewood, Colorado. Passed away in her home Tuesday, February 19, 2013. She was born to parents Rev. Julius and Laura Toepel on March 2, 1923 in Des Plaines, Illinois. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 53 years, 9 mounths and 11 days, Kenneth Kudsk, who was called home May 27th, 2001. Survived by son Dr. Ken A.(Leslie) Kudsk of Madison, Wisconsin; daughter Laura (Joe) M. Samuelson-Perez of Wheat Ridge, Colorado; granddaughter Christina (Shawn) Knapp; three great-gransons Stephen, Ethan and Ryan.
Hildegard was a former member of St. Matthew Evangelical Lutheran Church in Illinois. She was in the choir there for many years until moving to Colorado in October, 1997 and became a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church until death. In her early years she did secretarial work and bookkeeping in an accounts receivable and credit department.
