Honora Mary Clarkson 1930-2012
82 of Littleton, passed peacefully on Saturday, December 15, 2012, at the Hospice of St. John. She joins her mother, Mary Livingstone, and father, John Livingstone, in Heaven. She is survived by her loving family: husband, James M. Clarkson; son, Michael J. (Julie A. Fioravanti) Clarkson; sister, Marie Ginn (Liverpool, UK); brother, John Livingston (Liverpool, UK).
She shared many memories during her final days, including being in the audience of The Ed Sullivan Show for The Beatles appearance – invited by Mrs. Ed Sullivan. We are honored in having shared a wonderful life with a wonderful wife, mom, aunt, sister and friend. The joy of those memories will outshine the sorrow of her passing.
She asked us to share her favorite quote from Rupert Brooke: "If I should die, think only this of me. That there's some corner of a foreign field that is forever England."
A memorial ceremony will be held at her interment in Liverpool, UK, in April 2013, on what would have been her 83rd birthday.
Please share your memories of Honora her on Facebook page or here on the Guest Book.
