Horace "Hoss" Rodney, 71, of Denver, passed away September 2, 2016.
He was born June 6, 1945 in Wicomico, Maryland.
Horace is survived by his Brother, Thomas Rodney and is preceded in death by his Wife, Joyce E. Rodney.
Mr. Horace "Hoss" Rodney has lived a very active and productive life. He has lived in many places around the world due to his father being in the military. Hoss called himself an "Army Brat". He spent a lot of his childhood in Homer, Alaska. He had many stories about his times as a military child in Alaska of all places.
Hoss was a very busy man in his professional life. His many jobs consisted of, Taxi Driver, Property Manager, a Licensed RN Orderly (working in many Assisted Living/Nursing Homes) and a Licensed Minister in California.
Hoss is a very special man to those he knew and those whom he just met. He is one of the keepers in life, a rare gem (that some look for), a man who leaves a lasting impression on others. Hoss always had a positive attitude, extreme caring for others, his wittiness, wonderful smile and amazing laugh.
Hoss loved to spend time with his friends, sharing stories and recipes, going fishing with neighbors, listening to music, watching movies and old TV shows and sharing the word of God.
To many, Hoss was an incredible artist. He could draw a picture in a manner of hours and he had a lot of ideas for his drawings due to his full adventurous life. He would tell people who got the pleasure to see his art work that he "thought" these drawings were not worthy of being shown.
Mr. Horace J. Rodney will be greatly missed by his friends and family.
We all love you, Brother Hoss. We will see you again when our time comes. In the meantime have a wonderful time with your wife, Joyce and share the latest stories about us with her as we will share the stories and memories about the wonderful man we had the pleasure of getting to know.
With our Love and Grace Always...
