Howard Edward Glasier, 87, died March 29, 2014, at his home in Aurora, CO. He was born August 17, 1926 in Denver to John and Margaret Glasier.
From his youth, Howard demonstrated a talent for all things mechanical. After serving in the Army Air Force from 1949 - 1952, Howard worked as a machinist. He then found employment in the elevator industry, repairing elevators and escalators for 25 years.
Howard married Edith C. Tooley on September 9, 1950, in Denver. Together, they raised a family of four boys and four girls.
Howard enjoyed fixing cars, fishing and hunting. He was active in the Cherry Creek Gun Club for many years.
His wife Edith survives along with their children; David Glasier, Mary Stein, Jim Glasier, Kathy Dillon, Anne Glasier, Mike Glasier, Paul Glasier and Barbara McGee, 15 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Howard is preceded in death by his five siblings; Ellen Morris, Loyd Glasier, Ruth Price, Ethel Watson and Harold Glasier.
