Irmengard Postillion

Irmengard Adelheid Maria Postillion aka “Irma” passed away on August 16th, 2026. She was born in Munich, Germany on June 19, 1927 to parents Robert and Maria Schulz. She was preceded in death by her brother Robert and her loving husband Dominic aka “Jack” Postillion in 1999. She is survived by sons George and Rodney, grandson Brian, two great grandsons Logan and Dane and her nephew Gerhard. She will be remembered lovingly for her wisdom, resilience, independence, loyalty to friends and most of all dedication to her family. Along with being a devoted wife and mother she was bilingual in German and English having been trained as a business secretary, was an avid knitter and seamstress and was a retired cashier from the Aurora Public Schools. Her favorite hobby was reading and had been one of the oldest members of a German book club. A celebration of her life will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, 190 Potomac St, Aurora, CO 80011 on Friday, September 11, 11:00 AM. All are welcome. In lieu of flowers, donations will be made to Rocky Mountain Feline Rescue.
