Pat drove a Zone Cab for many years and was known to his fellow cab drivers as "I.P.". After he retired, he especially enjoyed gardening (planting the hottest chilies he could find……..there was never a chili too hot for him); as well as feeding and watching the birds in his back yard. He has always enjoyed cooking and especially barbequing, and had his own special recipes. A favorite being oxtail stew that he would cook all day.

He enjoyed socializing and being outdoors and would drop everything for a trip to the local Creamery (now Dairy Queen) to get a thick chocolate malt. He was an avid sports fan, loved watching the Denver Broncos and the Colorado Rockies games (and he would not answer the phone, if you called during one of the games).

Pat is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside services with the Army Honor Guard will be held on Thursday, October 15, 2015 at 2:30 p.m. at Fort Logan National Cemetery (Staging Area B).
