Isaiah Ovencia Amrine- Cabrera

Isaiah Amrine-Cabrera 17 of Denver Colorado passed away along side his cousin Christian Mims ( 21 of Taos NM) in a motor vehicle accident. Just north of Walsenburg Colorado, In the early hours of June 29th 2026.

Isaiah was born on November 22, 2008 to Luis Cabrera and Dezmin Amrine. He was born and raised in Denver. Isaiah loved basketball, both playing and watching the sport were his favorite pastimes. He was a member of the Montbello Warriors boys basketball team for the past three years. He was heading into his Senior year of high school so he spent much of his time looking into colleges and preparing for a bright future. Isaiah was especially fond of his baby cousins and had a special place in his heart for animals. Isaiah will be greatly missed by so many.

He is proceeded in death by his mother Dezmin Amrine, sister Nevaeh Cabrera, cousin Sharra Torres and uncle Andres Cabrera. He is survived in death by his father Luis Cabrera, grandmothers Hilda and Carmela. Aunts Guillermina, Crichelle, and Roxanne. Uncles Jose (Victoria) and Hoss. Cousins Raquel, Taylor, Angel, Jacob, Isac, Sariah, Damiana, Isabel, Timoteo, Sonya, Natalia, Catalina, Yaretzi, Julian and Luis. As well as so many other friends and family.

The family is so very grateful for the outpour of love, support and prayers!

Services will be held at the Newcomer East Metro Chapel in Aurora Colorado. 10 am Gathering, 11 am services, followed by a reception / luncheon.
