James B."Red" Hammack Sr.

James B. "Red" Hammack Sr., 78, of Denver, passed away March 31, 2015.

He was born October 8, 1936 in Sterling, Colorado, the son of James and Pauline (Herzog) Hammack.

He was a member of the Carpenters Union since 1956 and worked for Hyder Construction. He owned his own construction company named GHW Construction.

James is survived by four children, Cindy Lou Williams; James B. Hammack, Jr., Christine Kay (Kevin Tohill) Hammack and Thomas J. Hammack; Sister, Julia (Terrence) Emmett; Seven Grandchildren, Adrianna Hammack, Alicia Hammack, Arielle Aragon, Sharise Williams, Brittany Williams, Christopher Hammack and Joshua Hammack; Five Great-Grandchildren, Michael, Vision, James, Briellea and Benjamin; and Three nephews, Sam, Jim and Chuck(Trudy) and great-nieces and great-nephews, Jeff, Jasmine, and Jessica (baby Allison).

He is preceded in death by Father, James B. Hammack, Mother, Pauline Hammack, Sister, Lois Padgett.

A celebration of life will be held on April, 25th 2015, between 2:00-6:00pm at his residence, please contact the family for the address.
