James Russell Bond Sr.

January 4, 1935 — February 8, 2023

James was born January 4, 1935 in Kirk, Colorado. Days later he was adopted by Russell and Frances Bond who lived in Kit Carson, Colorado. They also adopted another boy a few years later named George. They then moved to Raton, New Mexico and then Littleton where James graduated from high school. He enlisted in the Marine Corps at age 17. He was stationed at El Toro, California, Hawaii, Korea and then Buckley Air Force Base.

James met Claudean Erdman in Denver and they married in February of 1955. They had three children: Debra, Jim and Judi.

James attended Living Waters Tabernacle in 1976 and accepted Christ into his heart there. He spoke constantly about the pastor's tapes, to which he loved listening. He then moved down to Canon City in 2005 and went to be with Jesus on February 8, 2023.

James service will be livestreamed at the scheduled service time. Click Here to view the service.
