James "Jim" Brown passed away at home in Colorado on September 21st, 2017 at 80 years old.
Jim is survived by his wife Dora, his Brother Wilbur "Buster", three children: Randy (Barbara) Brown, Dawn Cronin, and Jonny Brown, six grandchildren: Michael Brown, James Brown, Nicole Townsend, Brianna Cronin, Joey Cronin and Aidan Cronin and five great-grandchildren: Rachel, Michael, Wyatt, Kerelynn, and Natalie . He is preceded in death by his parents Charles and Dorothy Brown, two brothers, David Brown and Glenn Brown, and one son, Richard Brown.
Jim was born May 23, 1937 in Denver, Colorado to the late Charles and Dorothy Brown and had three brothers. In 1955, at 18 years old, he joined the Army and was deployed to Germany before he was medically discharged.
Jim spent many of his years driving trucks hauling heavy equipment and working as a heavy equipment operator. He worked on many notable projects including building the Eisenhower Tunnel.
