James David Hallstied Sr.

James D. Hallstied Sr. was born on February 23, 1928 in Colye, Oklahoma to Florence and Joe Hallstied. He was once married to Margie Conners who's marriage was not a success. They had one son together. James was a member of the Eagles and Elks lodges and his hobbies were dominoes and gambling.
He is a father of three and step-father of one. Preceded in death by his parents; sisters Carrie Shaunalt, Neddie McKnight, Beissie Westbrooke, Mattie White, and Mauddie Hallstied; brothers James Halstied (Coop) and Reverend James Manuel Jr. Survived by daughter Angela Childers, step-son Arvis Sanders Cole, son James David Hallstied Jr. and Tony Zamora who he raised as one of his own; and eight grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
