He was born August 14, 1970 in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of James and Nanette (Pacello) Dowd. He was a graduate of Bear Creek High School.
James is survived by his son, Nicholas Jones; mother, Nanette Pacello; three sisters, Deborah Russell, Cindy Spedding, and Lisa Dowd; granddaughter, Jahnna Jones; and four nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, James Martin Dowd.
