James Anthony Hartford, Jr. 1927-2011
84 of Shawnee, passed away on Sunday, December 18, 2011. He is survived by his wife, Darlene. His nine children: Anthony, Randall, Tanya, Vincent, Richard, David, Leisa, William, and Steven. His twenty-four grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Jim was a service member in three branches of the military: United States Marine Corps, United States Navy, and United States Army. Jim served on the Denver Police Department for 25 years and retired as a Sergeant in 1977. Jim was an active member of the Bailey Lions Club and the American Legion Post #2527.
