James Edward "Ed" McClanahan, 90, of Lakewood, passed away August 24, 2017.
He was born October 27, 1926 in Denver, Colorado, the son of Luther and Ethel (Remines) McClanahan.
He was married to the former Billie Jeanne Tanner.
James is survived by daughter, Janet Wilson; four grandchildren, Shawna (Devon) Dallas, Jason (Misty) Little, Stacey Smith and Cassandra Smith; seven great-grandchildren, Dylan Dallas, Madison Dallas, Dierdra Little, Brayden Little, Brandy Ragan, Tyler Brown and Makayla Smith; four great-great-grandchildren, Ariel, Lorenzo, Trystin and Zoey; many nieces, nephews and extended family and his cherished dog, Buddy.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Billie Jeanne McClanahan; daughter, Linda Smith; father, Luther McClanahan; mother, Ethel McClanahan; two sisters, Dorothy and Charlotte; three brothers, Curt, Ralph and Vernon and his cherished dog, Skruffy.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Red Cross to help Hurricane Harvey victims.
