A proud graduate of Abraham Lincoln High School in Denver in 1965, James embraced his early education with the same care and attention he later brought to his professional endeavors. Shortly after, he served his country in the Army, demonstrating a sense of duty that would be a defining feature throughout his life.
Professionally, James excelled as an accountant, navigating complex financial landscapes with precision and integrity. He contributed his expertise to the Federal Government and extended his skills into the real estate sector, where he found fulfillment in helping families find their homes. His career was marked by a steadfast work ethic and a personable approach that earned him respect among colleagues and clients alike.
Beyond his professional life, James was a man who found simple joy in the world around him. He loved watching television, especially tuning in to the news, staying informed about the events shaping his community and the wider world. This interest reflected his broader attentiveness and thoughtful perspective on life.
James is survived by his beloved children, Brian Morris and Christine Smith. Brian shares his life with Kristi, and together they have been a source of pride and happiness for James. His grandchildren, Max and Cooper Morris, were a shining light in his later years, offering moments of joy and family bonding. He also leaves behind his brothers, Eddie Morris, married to Barbara, and Tom Morris, married to Mary, who together share in the sorrow of his passing as well as the remembrance of a life well lived.
