James O. Butts Sr.

James O. Butts Sr., 72, of Aurora, passed away May 25, 2015.
He was born March 9, 1943 in Sturgis, Kentucky, the son of Louis and Frances (Miller) Butts. He was a graduate of Sturgis Composite High School. He attended the University of Kentucky.
James is survived by two sons, David Butts, James O. (Christy) Butts Jr.; daughter, Leslie Butts; four grandchildren, Tyler Johnson, Whittni Butts, Terron Windom, Te'Ovyon Jackson; and sister, Emma Moore. He is preceded in death by his father, Louis Butts; mother, Frances Butts; brothers, Louis Butts, Jerry Butts and Joe Butts; and sister, Mary Butts.
James loved classic cars, motorcycles, fishing, and family. James had a love for the Colorado Rocky Mountains. James was a great father and grandfather and never met a stranger. He had many "adopted" children. James will be greatly missed by many.
