James Willard Parker, affectionately known as Jimmy, passed away peacefully on December 20, 2024, in Denver, Colorado, at the age of 81.

Born on September 18, 1943, in Clarksville, Texas to Willard Parker and Georgia Elizabeth Parker. Jimmy's life as a testament to hard work, compassion, and service to other.

Jimmy graduated from Hobbs High School in New Mexico before embarking on a life dedicated to building and uplifting others. In 1979, he founded Denver Builders, a construction company that not only shaped the landscape of the community but also served as a launching pad for young entrepreneurs in the industry.

Despite undergoing dialysis for over 30 years, Jimmy's determination never wavered; he often went directly from treatment to work, always ready to lend a hand.

He also leaves behind his sisters, Marian Lincoln, Wanda (Billy Feeny), and Sherri Parker and his brother-in-law Brad Murphy. Jimmy's memory will be cherished by a host of nieces and nephews as well as countless friends and extended family.

Preceding him in death are his parents, Willard and Georgia Elizabeth Parker, sister Sandra Murphy and his children Ricky and Derrick Parker, and grandson Javay Parker.

Jimmy shared special friendships with Winnie, Ivan, King Harris, Ran and Henry whose bonds enriched his life.

Jimmy will be remembered for his cheerful and giving spirit, his passion for service, and the compassion he showed to everyone he met.

Jimmy's legacy of kindness and perseverance will forever inspire those who had the privilege of knowing him.
