May 2, 1941-September 14, 2011. A graduate of East Denver High School 1959, Colorado State University 1963 with a degree in Social Studies. A member of Alpha Phi Omega. Taught in Simla, Ordway and Steamboat Colorado, followed by 2 years of substitute teaching and selling school supplies. Then spent 20 years at Kepner Middle School. Retired in 1990 due to Parkinson. He had fond memories of his time in the Civil Air Patrol in the 1970's, spent time in Isreal, and Chaperoning International Air Cadets. Survived by Nancy Elizabeth Thoman (sister), Charles Tohman and Michael Tohman (nephew) of Denver. Preceded by his parents Lillian M. Lobban Biggs and Irvin James Biggs. Services, Monday, September 19,11:00 AM at St. Mark's Lutheran Church 111 Del Mar Cr. in Aurora, where he was a member. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Mark's Lutheran Church or to The Parkinson's Foundation.
