James Leroy VonFeldt of Denver died November 24th 2017. He was born too late Isadore and Zelma VonFeldt on April 4th 1946 in Hays, Kansas. His family moved to Denver in 1951. In 1956 they moved to Aurora, where he spent most of younger life.
As a young man he loved boxing and even became a Golden Glove boxer. He loved to read and was self taught in business and law. His first job was working at Missile sites in Deer Trail Colorado. He continued to work odd jobs until he became a glazer for Denver Glass Company in 1971. On May 7th 1982 in married Sandra VonFeldt. In 1987 he managed the family bar Billy's Inn. During this time there he became an active member of National License Beverage Association. Even becoming the Vice President one year. His involvement included helping to rewrite the liquor code and winning many awards for retailer of the year. He also dedicated much of his time to the legislation against the smoking ban. He was an active member of the Catholic Church of All Saints.
James had a big heart, he was giving and was always willing to lend a helping hand. He worked hard and was loved by many. He will always be remembered.
He is survived by his wife Sandra VonFeldt.
His three children Chris VonFeldt, Denise Sisernos, and D'Anna Stallins
Six Grandkids, Karlie Allmer, Kyle Stallins, Alyssa Valenzuela, Jason VonFeldt, Steven VonFeldt, and Illyla VonFeldt
Three brothers Tim VonFeldt, Kenny VonFeldt, Dennis VonFeldt and his sister Debbie Procoppio
