Janet B. Feazell, daughter of Les and Frances McCaslin, let go and let God and left this earth on her Sentimental Journey, to be with her loved ones up in heaven, on April 2, 2015.
Janet (Nana) left behind her two daughters, Billie (Larry) Olin, and LuAnn (Chris) Paddock; three granddaughters, Randi (Steve) Hitchcock, Amanda (Dewane) Mosher, and Lacey Olin; and two great grandsons, Cody Hitchcock and Milan Mosher, two step-grandsons Charlie and Will Paddock, and three step-great grandchildren Jacob and Audrey Mosher, and Knox Paddock. Janet had two treasured sisters, Gerri Greer, and Leslie (Kent) Brown. She also leaves behind numerous cousins, nephews, nieces and their children who knew her as Nana.
Janet gave up a promising career as a singer with a big band to become a wife and mother. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bill, in 1981. She spent many precious years on the Olin's farm south of Fountain until she returned home to Arvada in 2012. Janet had a passion for reading to children at Aragon Elementary, designing handmade cards for family and friends, crocheting blankets, tending to her flower gardens, years loving Elvis, traveling, bowling and gambling. She was an avid Broncos and Rockies fan, and loved rooting on her granddaughters as they played volleyball, tennis, and ran track, watched choir and band concerts, plays and cheered on extended family as they played football, basketball, and baseball. Janet maintained many long-term friendships from her early years in Arvada and never lost touch with her cherished Girlie Group, former neighbors, and friends that became family via the Arvada Fire Department. Her most proud accomplishment was her family and her sobriety.
A Happy Hoedown to celebrate Janet (Nana) Feazell's Life will take place Sunday, June 7, 2015 from 10 AM - 6 PM at Olin's Farm, 20225 Wigwam Road, Fountain, CO 80817.
