Janet Clarice (Brough) O’Dell, 87, of Clifton, Illinois,

died August 18, 2026, in Lakewood, Jefferson Co., Colorado.

Janet was born February 21, 1939, in Clifton, Iroquois Co., Illinois to

Francis Felix Brough and Dorothy Ethel (Potts) Brough

She married Delmar Ray O’Dell on September 1, 1957.

She retired from the Upholstery Industry at Guest Masters,

and Westco Fabrics here in Colorado.

Janet was a beacon of kindness, strength, and joy to everyone who knew her. While we are heartbroken, we take comfort in knowing her love lives on in all of us.

She is preceded in death by her husband, her parents, her sister Jean, and two brothers, Chuck and Donny.

Survivors include one brother, Bill (Peggy) Brough of Caldwell, Illinois. Three children: Jeff O’Dell of Corona, California, Tammy (Charles) Garcia of Denver, Colorado, and Tim (Gwen) O’Dell of Denver, Colorado. Six grandchildren: Richard Garcia and Benjamin (Rachel) Garcia of Denver, Colorado, Jennifer O’Dell of Spring Valley, Nevada, Brandon O’Dell and Miles O’Dell of Corona, California, Kara O’Dell (Tyler Knafelc) of Arvada, Colorado. Four great-grandchildren: Emma Leigh Garcia of Oak Harbor, Washington, Camden Garcia of Las Vegas, Nevada, Micah Stancil and Zoe Stancil of Spring Valley, Nevada.
