Jan Wink went to be with the Lord at the end of January. She had been struggling with chronic ailments for quite some time. Family members were with her when she entered Heaven. She is survived by three sons; a grandson; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great-nephews, many friends, and her little dog, "Colo".
In her early adulthood, Jan and her family lived in several places around the country. Her beloved husband Bob was in the military for many years. When he left the military, they settled in Denver where Jan was born and raised.
The family loved camping and fishing. They spent many weekends in the mountains. Jan was an avid gardener. She had beautiful flowers, shrubs and vegetable gardens in the yard as well as many lovely houseplants. Sewing was one of her greatest talents. She worked for many years as a seamstress at a furniture manufacturing company.
Church was an important part of her life. Her friends at Christ the King Lutheran Church were very dear to her. She read the bible everyday. Her love for God was reflected in all she did.
Everyone who knew Jan was blessed by her kindness, compassion and unwavering love. If someone was ill or in need of anything, she was there to help them. She and Bob were very important in the lives of all their loved ones, especially their children and grandson.
Jan is greatly missed by all her family and friends. We were relieved that her frail body is no longer suffering. Her soul is rejoicing with God and all her loved ones in heaven.
We thank Jan for everything. We love you! God Bless You!
