Jantine Antoinette Lodder

January 28, 1942 – September 7, 2025

Jantine “Tineke” Lodder, 83, passed away peacefully in her home on September 7, 2025, surrounded by her loving family, after a brief unexpected illness. Jantine was born on January 28, 1942, in Arnhem, the Netherlands to Petronella Anna Margareta Kock van Blijkshof and Bernardus Johannes Antonius Kock. On October 19, 1963, she married Willem (Wim) Lodder. In 1967, the couple moved away from their homeland with their first-born son to Vancouver, Canada to begin a new life in a foreign country. After living in Canada for 6 years, the growing family moved to the US ultimately settling in Colorado in 1976.

Jantine was a dedicated wife, mother and friend who loved spending time with her family and friends. Aside from her full-time job raising three children, Jantine enjoyed spending her free time volunteering, spending active time outdoors, crafting, meeting up with friends, and traveling. Although miles away from family, Jantine visited her homeland often. Most summers when the kids were young were spent visiting family in the Netherlands. Once the kids reached adulthood, Jantine and Wim continued to visit the Netherlands twice a year until Wim’s health deteriorated. Jantine was able to make a final visit home prior to her unexpected illness which brings us some comfort.

Jantine is preceded in death by both her parents and her husband. She is survived by her brother Dolf, her children Tymon, Waldo (Jil), and Petra (Geoff) along with her grandchildren Gavin, Owen, Gwen, and Garrett.

Jantine’s death has left us deeply saddened. We will miss her dearly as will all those who have had the honor of knowing her. Thank you for being the best mom ever.

The family will be hosting a celebration in honor of Jantine on November 9th at The Vista at Applewood Golf Course.

In lieu of flowers, feel free to make a donation to the National Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Society, an organization Jantine dedicated many years of her time, or a charity of your choice.
