Jason Apolonio Garcia,
88, of CommerceCity, CO. Born April 10th 1924 in North Platte, Nebraska. Passed away Friday, November 2nd, peacefully in the comfort of his home, amongst his beloved family. Mr. Garcia is survived by his beautiful wife of 67 years, Shirley Caudillo Garcia, of North Platte Ne; sister Mary Nila of North Platte Ne; daughters Rebecca Montez and Beatrice Hatch of Commerce City, Co; Son Paul (Annette) Garcia of Commerce City, Co; Son Frank (Virginia) Garcia of Commerce City, Co; grandchildren Wendy Gloria of Atwater, Ca; Felicia Harrison of Golden, Co; Angelia J. Garcia of Lakewood, CO; Nicole Richwine of Marysville, Wa; Marcus Garcia of Commerce City, Co; Cyrus 'Tony" Hatch of Marysville, Wa; Dominic Garcia of PAFB, FL; Nicholas Garcia of Commerce City, Co; Vanessa Garcia of Commerce City, Co; Lorenzo Ruiz of Commerce City, Co; Michael Ruiz of Commerce City, Co; his beloved great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his son Jason "Gordy" Garcia; granddaughter Martelle A. Garcia; brothers Paul and Martin Deluna; Cecil and Enos Hernandez; and sister Jenny Deluna Ponce. In addition to raising a beautiful family Mr. Garcia also served his country proudly and selflessly in the United States Army from March 1944 to July 1945 being Honorably discharged and awarded 2 Bronze service stars.

Rosary will be held 7 P.M., Thursday, November 8th, at Our Lady Mother of the Church, Commerce City, Co. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 A.M., Friday November 9th, at Our Lady Mother of the Church. Interment to follow immediately after at Highland Cemetery in Thornton, CO, where Military Honors will be rendered. Reception to follow at Las Brisas, 7150 Ivy St. Commerce City, CO.
