Jay L. Wilkerson was born in Denver, CO on Sept 19, 1935 and passed away peacefully on Sept. 25, 2015.
Jay was an honorably discharged veteran of the U.S. Army after serving 22 years, and was retired as an automotive instructor with Denver Automotive & Diesel College (DADC).
He is survived by wife Linda of Denver, sons Jeffery and Michael Wilkerson and families, Stepson Michael Sawyer and family, brother Leonard; numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by parents, John & Marcella, Stepdaughter Melanie Vigil, brothers Clifford & Larry Wilkerson.
No services are planned; Jay's wish for all would be to be kind to all people and if you do not have something good to say or do for others, then do or say nothing at all.
