Jeffery Joseph "Bubba" Lucero

“With heavy hearts, we announce the unexpected passing of Jeffery Lucero known lovingly to many as “Bubba,” on May 8th, 2026.

Bubba born and raised in Denver CO was a caring and loving person whose infectious laugh brought joy to everyone around him. He loved spending time with family and friends, fishing, watching the Denver Broncos and making memories with the people he loved most. One of Bubba’s favorite pastimes was going to Bingo and listening to music.

Bubba will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his beloved daughter, Devine Lucero; granddaughter, Lanae Lucero Contreras; his loving mother, Connie Lucero; his sisters, Angel “Geekie” Salas (Justin Salas) and Shyanne Santana (Carlos De Anda); his brothers, Mark Becker and Brandon Santana; his nephew, Justin Salas Jr.; and his nieces, Journey Rose Salas and Kassandra De Anda.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Rose Marie Reyes, and grandfather, Fred Alex Lucero.

Bubba’s memory will forever live on in the hearts of his family and friends. His laughter, love, and presence will never be forgotten.
