Jeffrey Cooper Ludwig

January 2, 1985 — February 7, 2016

Jeffrey Cooper Ludwig, 31, of Aurora, passed away February 7, 2016.

Jeff was born to John Ludwig and Leigh Ann Witchie on January 2nd 1985 at Rose Medical Center in Denver Colorado. He graduated from Hinkley High School, class of 2004.

Jeff is survived by his parents, John (Anna) Ludwig and Leigh Ann (Tom) Ludwig; sister, Stephanie (Mike) Gold; two nieces, Chloe Gold, Emma Gold; step-brother, Dylan (Tori); step-sister, Danielle (Mike); nephew, Teddy; three uncles, Karl (Rhea) Witchie, JR (Michelle) Witchie, and Glenn Ludwig; cousin Jackie; grandmother, Ann Jorn; and numerous cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Leon Witchie, Edwin Ludwig; cousin Vivian Haggerty; uncle, Mike Witchie; and aunt, Mardean Bakenhester.

Jeff was a race car enthusiast. He spent many days and nights racing under the lights at Bandimere Speedway in the Colorado foothills. His first car was a baby-blue Ford Falcon. Over the years, Jeff accumulated many trophies for his racing accomplishments.
Jeff was an avid sports fan. Jeff's favorite team was the Ohio State Buckeyes. He represented his team nearly every day with his impressive wardrobe of scarlet and grey. He was ecstatic to be able to watch the Buckeyes win the National Championship in 2015. On a typical Saturday night, Jeff would watch the Klitschko brothers dominate in boxing while wearing his typical Klitschko hat.

Jeff's charismatic personality was contagious. He had the uncanny ability to memorize countless movie quotes. You couldn't have a conversation with him without hearing at least one of his favorite one-liners.

Jeff was also the eternal optimist. No matter how tough life got for him, he faced every day with a smile on his face. He got up every morning, ready to try again. While he may have lost his fight, we can all learn from his struggles; No matter your situation, there is always hope. There is always a reason to smile.
