Jerry Lee Redwine, 84, of Lakewood, passed away November 30, 2016.
He was born September 24, 1932 in , Missouri, the son of Gerald and Maude (Dooley) Redwine.
He was a graduate of Sikeston High School. He was also a graduate of the IBEW program where he became a Journeyman and later a Master Electrician. He also was the owner/ operator of Redwine Electric for over 30 years.
He was the owner of King's Rest Weekly Apartments for 45 years.
Jerry loved to help people and had a soft spot for animals. He enjoyed the time he spent walking his dog, Nala and spending time with his rescue cats, Selena, Sapphire and Boo Boo. Jerry was an expert gardener and received the title of Master Gardener. He loved taking care of his tenants and the less fortunate. Jerry was an avid reader and enjoyed reading about politics and current events. He would sing and dance to entertain others. Jerry also enjoyed hosting BBQs during the summer and would hold an annual event at Gregorio's to celebrate the yearly anniversary of his ownership of the King's Rest. Above all, he loved his family and considered everyone he met to be his family.
Jerry is survived by Three Children, Debra Lee Wagner, Ricky Lee Redwine and Joni K. Redwine; Four Grandchildren, Anthony Joseph Morse, Nichole Marie Wagner, Savanna Leigh Wagner and Amber Maureen Redwine; Two Brothers, Jack "Jack Jack" (Donna) Redwine and Jim (Melba) Redwine; Sister, Susan (Fred) Weldon; Many nieces, nephews, and beloved friends.
He is preceded in death by Son, Craig Redwine; Parents, Gerald and Maude Redwine, Three Brothers, Bill Redwine, Joe Redwine and Scott Redwine and Sister, Patricia Redwine.
