During this time, he fell in love and married Dorothea that marked the beginning of a loving relationship that spanned an incredible 61 years. Together, they created a Christian home for their children, Vonda (Phil) and Scot (Debbie), laying a firm foundation of love and support that continues to resonate through their family. Jerry’s legacy continues through his grandchildren – Jeramey, Travis, Amber, and Adam – as well as his three great-grandchildren. His children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren were the light of his life. As a cherished friend, Jerry had the ability to make everyone feel welcome and his caring presence left an indelible mark on many hearts. He enjoyed reading about history, taking his family on vacations around the world, and playing table games with his family and friends.
