Jesse James Padilla, known affectionately as "Bird," was born on September 7, 1987, in Denver, Colorado. He brought joy and light into the lives of many until his passing on January 15, 2026. As a devoted father, son, brother, and friend, Jesse's impact on those who knew him will be remembered with warmth and tenderness.

For nearly 20 years, Jesse pursued his passion as a skilled tattoo artist, crafting beautiful pieces that reflected both his artistic talent and the stories of those who sat in his chair. His love for tattooing was not only a career but a canvas for self-expression. Those who were fortunate enough to witness his work remember his excellent penmanship and his ability to bring his clients’ visions to life, leaving deep imprints beyond ink.

A man of many interests, Jesse found excitement and camaraderie in the thrill of dice games. He cherished memory-filled moments spent fishing or engaging in family gatherings, where his loving, loyal, and rebellious spirit shone brightly. Jesse was a jokester at heart, always able to make others laugh while also taking joy in their laughter. His personality was magnetic, drawing friends and family alike into warm conversations filled with humor and delightful tales.

Beyond his artistic and recreational pursuits, Jesse harbored a profound pride in the personal progress he made throughout his life. After facing challenges and time away, He came back a stronger wiser man. This transformation served as a testament to his brave spirit, demonstrating that he was willing to rise and become the best version of himself.

Jesse leaves behind a loving family who will continue to celebrate his legacy. He is survived by his son, Jesse, and his daughter, Jessinay, both of whom he adored immensely. His parents, Lenny and Pat, along with his sister, Fransisca (Leon) who stood as pillars of support and love throughout his journey, he is also survived by his brothers, Nick and Zack. He took great joy in being an uncle to his nephews, Elijiah, LJ, and King, imparting a playful spirit and encouragement that they will always remember.
