Jocelyn K. Payne Brown, 60, of Aurora., Colo., passed away Monday, Sept. 11, 2017.
She was born May 29, 1956, the daughter of the late Yuriasan and James Payne.
Jocelyn was a 1974 graduate of Bellefontaine High School and a 1978 graduate of Denison University and later moved to Denver where she made her home and worked for the Colorado Department of Human Services.
She is survived by brothers, Rick (Dee Hassel) Payne of Duluth, Ga., Tony Payne and Jeff (JoEtta Spain) Payne, all of Bellefontaine; special goddaughter, Shayla Brown Glover of Columbus; two nieces; and one nephew.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Payne; a nephew, Eric Payne; and grandparents, Donald and Frances Payne.
Graveside services for family and friends begin at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 6, at the Bellefontaine Cemetery.
