Joe Muegge was called home to the Lord to be with his wife, brother, and parents.

Joe was born in Enid, OK. To George A Muegge and Estelle B Cardwell Muegge on November 4, 1939. Joe passed away peacefully in his home in Bennett, CO. On July 20, 2025.

He was preceded in death by his father George A Muegge, mother Estelle B Muegge, brother Paul Muegge, nephew Tim Muegge, great nephew David Muegge, and wife Dianna Muegge.

He is survived by his sister Ann Black (Jack Black), sister-in-law Nancy Muegge, daughters Tanya Pinyan (James Pinyan), Penny Quick (Chad Quick), grandchildren Trista and Cody Pinyan, Thomas, Angel and Cassandra Quick, and many other nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He joined the Air Force October 1961 and served in Germany for 4 years and was honorably discharged in October 1965.

When he moved to Denver, CO he joined Park Hill United Methodist Church where he was a part of The Harvesters. That is where he met Dianna Ratcliff. They were married November 29, 1969 in Parris, Kentucky and were married 54 years.
