Joel Lloyd Player

Joel Lloyd Player lll passed away on November 12, 2011 surrounded by his loving family.
Joel was born in Orlando, Florida on December 27, 1976 to Joel Lloyd Player Jr. and Paula Day Player. He was preceded in death by his father and his fiancée Heather McCombs. The youngest of seven children, he is survived by his mother, 2 sisters, Gini Cole (Ron), Carisma Joella Player (Len), 4 brothers, Jeff Todd (Cheri), Mike Todd, John Todd, and Jay Todd. He is also survived by 13 nieces and nephews.
Joel was larger than life and had a heart of gold. He loved to laugh and could bring a smile to every face he came across with his amazing sense of humor. He was blessed with an ability to light up a room with his vibrant personality and razor sharp wit. His way with words was unmatched, whether speaking to you in person, over the phone, or through his lyrics and rhymes. He loved to make music, play golf, cook, watch movies, and hang out with family and friends.
Above all, his enormous love for his family and friends was truly genuine. He would do anything for any of us. We must all find a way to continue on with a void in each of us that can never be replaced. Watch over all of us on the rest of our journeys Joel – We love you. We will miss you every day. We will never forget you.
