John C. Holland

September 5, 1955 — May 2, 2015

We are here today to celebrate the time John spent on earth with us.

John entered this life on September 5th 1955 at 10:23 P.M. in Mercy Hospital Denver. His early life was spent in Denver where he attended Regis High School. His family moved to the Bailey area where he attended and graduated from Platte Canyon High School. Later on John went to College at Redrocks Community College where he received a degree in mechanics. He then joined the army and after basic training he was sent to Wackernheim Germany where he met the love of his life Angela.

Life in Germany was different it was the time of the "Cold War". One was never quite sure what was going to happen next, however hard work and dedication afforded John opportunities where he had reached the rank of E.5. before he was discharged. Than it was on to England where John and Angela got married. Although he did forget to tell his parents.

John's passion was always fixing things and that's probably what made him the best mechanic you would ever want to meet. With all that wonderful knowledge and getting a couple of degrees he decided to share that knowledge and become a teacher and Education Supervisor at Lincoln College of Technology where he was highly respected by his students and peers.

The only way to truly describe John is to say that he lived and he loved life to the fullest
